The tigers in Harbin

We saw many many tigers and other species at a "wild animal park" in Harbin. The pictures don't really capture the feeling of driving around with them outside the bus.

The white tiger was in a cage, but he was an impressive sight.

Snow sculptures in Harbin

In Harbin they have the ice sculptures, a whole city of several square kilometers, and then they have another area of snow sculptures which we viewed in the day time. Here is a small sample of what we saw.

New Year's Eve

Here we are at a friends house ready to play games, eat and welcome in the New Year. We are grateful for warm Sweatshirts that remind us of home! We were with two other couples and a baby. We are thankful for friends

Deana's Visit

While Deana was here we went to the Beijing Planning Exhibition Center which was phenomenal. They had among many other things a model of all of Beijing. It was great.

Here we are as a happy family at a friend's apartment celebrating Mike's birthday.

here we are in front of a picture of a beautiful landscape.

Another picture of part of the model of Beijing. This picture includes part of the man made lake at Olympic park. Deana had her pictures downloaded on our computer so I am borrowing them. We are very involved with our classes right now and test prep so who knows when we look at our own pictures which are either still on the camera or on another computer.
